Mansell Supports Hamilton’s Move to Ferrari

Mansell stated that Hamilton will move to Ferrari to compete for the championship in 2025.

Lewis Hamilton has been supported by 1992 F1 champion Nigel Mansell to ‘do what it takes’ and win a world championship for Ferrari.

The seven-time F1 champion will move to Ferrari in 2025 to secure his eighth title, overshadowing the record he shares with Michael Schumacher. Hamilton will be the first full-time British driver for Scuderia since Mansell in 1989-1990.

Mansell, who won three grand prix for Ferrari before moving to Williams and claiming his sole championship in 1992, described Hamilton’s move to Ferrari as ‘a magical step.’

In an interview with Top Offshore Sportsbooks, he said, “I’ve always been a fan of Lewis Hamilton and predicted he would be one of the greatest.”

“He accomplished that. I think ending his Formula 1 career at Ferrari is a magical step for him.”
