Max Verstappen is determined to close out the 2024 Formula 1 season with another victory as he targets a win in the final race of the year in Abu Dhabi. Following his impressive performance in Qatar, where he secured another victory, the Red Bull driver is confident of continuing his dominant form as the season draws to a close.
Speaking ahead of this weekend’s race, Verstappen expressed his excitement about returning to a circuit where he has had plenty of success in the past. The Dutch driver has been in top form throughout the season, and after a strong performance in Qatar, he is eager to finish 2024 with a double victory.
“The race in Qatar was exciting, and it was great to get another win,” said Verstappen. “The car felt fantastic, the grip was just right, and the team performed excellently. We have a lot of positive momentum heading into Abu Dhabi.”
Max Verstappen acknowledged the special connection he has with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, a track that has delivered many memorable moments for him and his Red Bull team.
“We have many good memories from this track,” Verstappen continued. “It’s always a challenging race, but we are ready to give it our all and finish the season on a high note.”
Looking ahead to the end of the season, Verstappen also noted that it had been a long and demanding year. “It’s been a long season, and it will be nice to take a break, spend some time with family and friends,” he added. “But first, it would be great to get another win in Abu Dhabi.”
The Red Bull star also highlighted the hard work of his entire team throughout the season, praising their dedication and efforts. “The whole team has worked incredibly hard this year, and everyone deserves some time to rest and recharge.”
As the 2024 season nears its conclusion, Max Verstappen and Red Bull are set to give it their all in Abu Dhabi, with the Dutch driver aiming for yet another victory to cap off an outstanding year.
