Our National Team will face Montenegro on Friday, October 11. The match will take place at the Samsun Yeni 19 Mayıs Stadium, starting at 21:45. This will be the third match for the Turkish National Team in Group B of the UEFA Nations League.
Referee Daniele Chiffi from the Italian Football Federation will officiate the match, assisted by Alessio Berti and Luigi Rossi. Matteo Marchetti will serve as the fourth official.
In their first match of the group, Turkey drew 0-0 against Wales away, then defeated Iceland 3-1 in Izmir. Montenegro lost their first match 2-0 to Iceland away and 2-1 to Wales at home.
Before the third matches, Turkey leads the group with 4 points, just ahead of Wales on goal difference. Iceland is in third place with 3 points, while Montenegro is at the bottom with no points.
On the same day, Iceland will face Wales.
BARIS ALPER’S SUSPENSION ENDS
Baris Alper Yilmaz, who missed the match against Iceland due to a red card received in the Wales match, will be available to play against Montenegro.
In the national team, Mert Gunok and Ismail Yuksek were removed from the squad due to injuries, while goalkeeper Berke Ozer has been included in the squad.
The following players are absent from the National Team’s candidate squad due to injuries: Cenk Ozkacar, Caglar Soyuncu, Dogan Alemdar, and Ozan Kabak.
