Perez: “I was actually very strong in Brazil”

Red Bull driver Sergio Perez believes his performance in the Brazilian Grand Prix was not bad.
Sergio Perez finished 11th in Brazil and left Sunday’s race without a point.

Speaking ahead of the Las Vegas GP, the Mexican driver said: “A very important weekend awaits the team in Las Vegas.”

“In 2023 we had almost no data on this track, but we are coming here this year with much more knowledge and understanding.”

“The fans, both on the track and in front of the TV, are looking forward to a great race. I want to do my best and get the most out of the car.”

“I’m working hard with the team and I want more. If we look at the Sao Paulo race, I looked more competitive than we showed there.”

Perez said of the remaining three races: “We will be competitive in the last three races. We were very competitive in Brazil but for many reasons we could not show that.”

“But I am confident that we will be competitive in the last three races of the year. If we can do that, it will be a good end to the season.”
