Presidential Cup Showdown: Fenerbahce Beko vs. Anadolu Efes
Fenerbahce Beko and Anadolu Efes are set to compete for the first trophy of the season.
In the 37th edition of the Men’s Presidential Cup, Fenerbahçe Beko and Anadolu Efes will face off. The match will take place at the Basketball Development Center and is scheduled to begin at 18:00, with live coverage on TRT Spor Yıldız. This match will also mark the inaugural game at the Basketball Development Center.
According to the regulations, the 2024-2025 Men’s Presidential Cup will be contested between Fenerbahce Beko, who won both the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League and the ING Turkish Cup last season, and Anadolu Efes, who finished second in the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League and were finalists in the ING Turkish Cup.
Fenerbahce Beko has claimed the Presidential Cup seven times. This will be the 18th time the team competes for the trophy, with their last win dating back to 2017.
Anadolu Efes, on the other hand, has won the Presidential Cup 13 times, holding the record for the most victories in the competition.
In previous Presidential Cup matchups between Fenerbahce Beko and Anadolu Efes, Efes has emerged victorious in five out of eight encounters, while Fenerbahce Beko has won three.
