PSG Determined to Sign Napoli Stars: Big Offer for Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia
French giant Paris Saint-Germain is determined to sign Napoli’s star players. According to Corriere dello Sport, last week Ligue 1 champion PSG made a massive €200 million (£168 million/$217 million) offer for Napoli stars Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. While it seems unlikely that the Serie A club will part ways with the Georgian winger, the French club could sign the Nigerian striker if they decide to pay the €130 million (£109 million/$141 million) release clause.
L’Équipe claims that PSG is determined to sign Osimhen this summer, but it is unlikely they will meet the release clause. Instead, they will ask The Blues to lower the price for the 25-year-old forward.
There were rumors earlier this summer about Kvaratskhelia leaving the Serie A club, but new head coach Antonio Conte made it clear that he wants the Georgian player to stay. The player’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, recently hinted that the star player will stay at Napoli and try to win the Scudetto again.
Luis Enrique’s team will reconvene later this month for pre-season preparations and then head to Austria and Germany to play two friendly matches against SK Sturm Graz and RB Leipzig.
Oh wow, PSG is gonna break the bank for two players? Because, you know, spending €200 million is totally not a sign of desperation or anything. It’s like they think throwing money at problems will magically fix their lack of Champions League glory. Maybe next time they should just try to buy a trophy instead! Seriously though, what do they think this is, Monopoly? “I’ll trade you this player for Park Place!” Good luck with that, PSG!
Ah yes, the classic ‘let’s lowball the price’ strategy. Because who doesn’t love a good negotiation when you’re trying to buy world-class talent? Like, why not just offer them a pack of gum and call it a day? Newsflash: they’re not going to just hand over Osimhen for pocket change! Maybe PSG should invest in some negotiation classes before trying to snag these players. Or better yet, just send them some really nice flowers as an apology for being so cheap!
I mean, if I had €200 million lying around, I would totally spend it on two soccer players too! Why save it for something sensible when you can have the world’s most expensive foot-dancers on your team? And let’s be real here, Kvaratskhelia staying at Napoli? Shocking! What’s next? The sun rising in the east?
So let me get this straight: PSG thinks they can waltz in and grab Napoli’s best players like they’re at an all-you-can-eat buffet? Sure thing! Just pass me the stars while you’re at it. What’s next on their agenda—offering free croissants to sweeten the deal? As if Kvaratskhelia cares about their fancy offers when he’s getting cozy with Conte. Good luck with that strategy!
‘We’re determined’ sounds so serious! Like they’re on some epic quest to retrieve magical golden players or something. Maybe they’ll send in knights next? Honestly, if I were Osimhen and saw that kind of scramble for my signature, I’d be laughing so hard I’d forget how to play soccer. You want me? Better step up your game before I change my mind!
‘Stay at Napoli and win the Scudetto’? That’s adorable! Because who doesn’t dream of winning shiny things over cashing in big bucks in Paris? Sure buddy, keep dreaming while PSG is out there offering more money than we make in our entire lifetimes! At this rate, it’s all about who can throw more euros into the ring—who needs loyalty when there’s bling?
‘Pre-season preparations’ sounds suspiciously like code for ‘let’s see how many vacations we can squeeze into our schedule.’ Playing against Sturm Graz and RB Leipzig doesn’t sound like much of a challenge either—more like an excuse to show off new jerseys. Let’s hope they don’t trip over their own egos while trying to impress everyone!
