Ronaldo’s Sister’s Shocking Response: “Poor Man”

Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister has responded harshly to Italian former footballer Antonio Cassano‘s criticism. Cassano recently targeted Ronaldo, claiming that the player “doesn’t know how to play football.” This statement came shortly after Ronaldo reached 900 career goals for both club and country.

Cassano, who left Real Madrid just before Ronaldo’s arrival at Santiago Bernabeu in 2009, made these surprising comments, sparking a wave of reactions in the football world. However, Ronaldo, currently playing for Al-Nassr, has yet to respond to Cassano’s baseless attack.

In contrast, Ronaldo’s sister Elma Aveiro took to social media to defend her brother and didn’t hold back in her response, referring to Cassano as a ‘ball boy.’ Aveiro has previously supported Ronaldo on numerous occasions and even mocked his eternal rival Lionel Messi on social media.

On her Instagram account, Elma Aveiro wrote: “People wake up to these kinds of things. I don’t know this poor man, but one thing I know for sure: he doesn’t know how to score 900 goals. If he did, just imagine. They say he’s a footballer, but I think they’re wrong; this was definitely a ball boy.”

The 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to action on Monday in the AFC Champions League as Al-Nassr faces Al-Rayyan, a Qatari giant, in Riyadh. Ronaldo has already scored 6 goals in 7 matches for the Saudi club this season and continues his march toward his 1,000-goal career target.
