Roy Keane, never one to shy away from a quip, delivered a lighthearted warning to his future son-in-law Taylor Harwood-Bellis after the young defender marked his England debut with a goal against Ireland.

Southampton center-back Harwood-Bellis came off the bench in England’s dominant 5-0 Nations League win over Ireland on Sunday. The 21-year-old capped off a dream debut by scoring a stunning header in the 79th minute, expertly converting a cross from Jude Bellingham.

Keane’s Playful Warning

In the ITV studio post-match, Keane addressed the goal but couldn’t resist poking fun at Harwood-Bellis, who is engaged to Keane’s daughter, Leah. “It’s not done and dusted yet! Things can change very quickly in the Keane household, let me tell you.” Keane joked, drawing laughter from the studio.
