Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor played one of its most exciting matches in a long time.

They especially used the left side very well. Although they did not show the same enthusiasm in defensive transitions, their offensive desire was noticeable. Senol Gunes used Ozan Tufan as a left midfielder in this match. Until his injury, he played his best match of the season. Edin Visca, who opened the scoring, was once again one of the key players. Konyaspor, responding to Trabzonspor’s offensive effectiveness with counterattacks, found very important chances in the first half with their Slovenian player, Kramer. Kramer’s ability to hold the ball and his runs behind the defense caused Trabzonspor’s defense to have extremely difficult moments.

BANZA RELIEVED THE TEAM
Trabzon, leading 2-1 at halftime, became quite comfortable with the goal scored by Banza in the second half. After this goal, the burgundy-blues continued their dominant play but, just like in the first half, they kept giving away large gaps in defense. Konyaspor increased its pressure in Trabzonspor’s half, and missing the penalty awarded to them by Umut Nayir ended their hopes of getting back into the game. Despite the goal from Keita in the 90th minute and the missed chances afterward, Trabzon managed to leave the field with a victory in the final quarter. It was the first time Trabzon left the field with a win under Senol Gunes, and their 45 minutes of play was satisfying, especially from set pieces and follow-ups. However, the problems in defense still await a clear solution.
