WOLFF: “ASTON MARTIN’S MOST IMPORTANT TRANSFER IS NOT NEWEY, IT’S COWELL”

Toto Wolff said that Andy Cowell, who has taken on the role of CEO at Aston Martin, is the most critical figure for the future of the team.

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff highlighted Andy Cowell as the most important name among Aston Martin’s recent transfers.

Wolff emphasized that Cowell, as CEO, is a major executive in terms of the organizational structure and believes Aston Martin will strengthen under Cowell’s leadership in the coming years. “For me, the most important transfer at Aston Martin is Andy Cowell, who came from our team. He is a very good manager as a CEO, managing the organization, structure, and processes very well.”
“Of course, Newey is talented in aerodynamics, but in terms of organization, I know Andy, not Adrian. With these two transfers, Aston Martin can become very strong.”
