WSBK Jerez 3rd Practice: Gerloff on Top, Toprak Fifth
In the third World Superbike practice session held in Jerez, Garrett Gerloff secured the top spot.
In the final official practice session of the weekend, the times were very close; leadership changed frequently in the first segment, with Nicolo Bulega leading for a long time. Leadership then passed to Iker Lecuona and later to Garrett Gerloff. The Bonovo Action BMW rider maintained his lead until the end of the session with a time of 1:39.166, making him the fastest. Andrea Iannone finished second, while Lecuona completed the top three. Meanwhile, Bulega, who is contending for the championship with Toprak, finished fourth, while Toprak placed fifth. Scott Redding had one of his best practice sessions of the year, finishing sixth, followed by Alex Lowes, Jonathan Rea, Alvaro Bautista, and Axel Bassani in the top ten.
