Turkey’s winning goal came after Kenan Yıldız’s shot hit the post, with Irfan Can Kahveci seizing the rebound and sending the ball into the net. This proved to be the only goal of the match.

Arda Guler received applause as he was substituted, with Kaan Ayhan coming on to replace him.
