Doubling the Gold Medal Count
Held in Paris from 28 August to 8 September, the games featured 182 countries, including the Refugee Paralympic Team and Neutral Paralympic Athletes. Turkey, with its largest-ever delegation of 94 athletes competing among 4,400 participants, made a significant mark on the event. The Turkish athletes brought home a total of 28 medals—6 gold, 10 silver, and 12 bronze—making it the country’s best-ever performance at the Paralympics.
