Tyler Adams is officially back in action and available for selection, AFC Bournemouth confirmed ahead of their upcoming Premier League fixture against Arsenal. The U.S. men’s national team midfielder has been sidelined since the summer but is now ready to make his return.
Adams underwent back surgery following the 2024 Copa America, where he featured in all three of the U.S. group stage matches. The surgery was necessary to address recurring back spasms that had troubled him during the latter stages of the 2023-24 Premier League season with Bournemouth.
Adams’ Road to Fitness
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola confirmed the positive news during a press conference, stating that Adams is now fully fit and back in first-team training after several months of recovery. Having returned to full training before the October international break, the 25-year-old midfielder is now available for selection for the first time this season.
