Tyler Dorsey to miss EuroLeague Round 11, Sasha Vezenkov undergoes MRI

Olympiacos Piraeus shooting guard Tyler Dorsey will miss Thursday’s EuroLeague Round 11 matchup against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, as confirmed by the team’s official website.

Dorsey was sidelined in Sunday’s domestic league game due to an adductor issue. Head coach Georgios Bartzokas explained after the game that Dorsey is dealing with tendinitis in his hip, saying, “He definitely won’t play on Thursday. Hopefully, he’ll be back next week.”

So far this season, Dorsey has averaged 5.1 points, 1.4 assists, and 4.6 PIR across nine EuroLeague games.

In addition, Sasha Vezenkov sustained a toe injury in Sunday’s game against PAOK. He had an impressive start, scoring 20 points in just 16 minutes, but did not play after halftime due to the injury.

According to Achilleas Mavrodontis of Amerikanos24, Vezenkov underwent an MRI on his toe, and an update on his status is expected soon.
