UFC President Dana White has strongly condemned Bryce Mitchell after the fighter made shocking comments about Adolf Hitler, denying the Holocaust and calling the dictator a “good guy.”
The 30-year-old, currently ranked 13th in the UFC featherweight division, made these remarks on the first episode of his new podcast, which also included antisemitic, homophobic, and transphobic statements.
White swiftly responded:
“What he said was beyond disgusting. He needs a real education on the facts surrounding Hitler and World War Two.”
⛔ UFC’s Response: Will There Be Consequences?
Despite White’s strong condemnation, no official action has been taken against Mitchell so far.
🔹 White’s Statement:
- “Hitler is one of the most disgusting and evil human beings to ever walk the earth, and anyone that even tries to take an opposing position is a moron.”
- “The problem with the internet and social media is that it provides a platform to a lot of dumb and ignorant people.”
📌 Key Context: Adolf Hitler led Germany into World War Two and was responsible for the Holocaust, where six million Jews were murdered.
💬 Backlash from the Combat Sports Community
Mitchell’s comments have sparked widespread outrage across the MMA world.
🎤 Ariel Helwani, a prominent Jewish MMA journalist, called it “a new low for MMA.”
“Each and every day MMA finds a way to reach a new low. Nothing will be done, and I don’t even care if anything is done. It just continues to baffle me at how unbelievably stupid – not to mention bigoted – some of the people in the sport or associated with the sport can be.”
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) also reacted, with CEO Jonathan Greenblatt stating:
“I’m aghast. Mitchell managed to express antisemitic, homophobic, and transphobic sentiments in just a few minutes. The UFC must take immediate action to show these ideas have no place in the sport.”
