Ufuk Sarica: “We Were Great Despite Our Problems and Absences”

After Pınar Karsiyaka’s 84-74 victory over Saint Quentin in the second week of the Basketball Champions League, head coach Ufuk Sarıca shared his thoughts on the game.

Here’s what Sarıca had to say:

“It wasn’t an easy game for us at all. We had some problems and were missing key players. But we did an excellent job. Our opponent was a very talented team. In the first half, we were magnificent both offensively and defensively. Honestly, we were strong on defense throughout the entire game. I want to congratulate all my players for their teamwork.”

Daron Fatts Russell also commented:

“It was a very good game. We came out on the court and were very aggressive on the defensive end. This started in the first quarter and stayed that way until the end of the game. I think it was a great win.”
