Verstappen: “I wasn’t watching press conferences when I was five.”

Max Verstappen, who received a penalty from the FIA for swearing during the Singapore GP, continues to express his frustration by holding his own press conferences.

The Dutch driver was publicly reprimanded by the FIA for swearing during the live broadcast of the Singapore Grand Prix.

In response, Verstappen announced that he would continue to hold his own press conferences to protest the FIA.

Despite everything that has happened, Verstappen stated that the penalty hasn’t changed anything in his life and that the FIA has not reached out to him in any way.

Speaking ahead of the U.S. Grand Prix, Verstappen said, “This doesn’t change much for me. I think this scenario is completely unnecessary.”

“Of course, you shouldn’t swear, but it’s more about whether or not to insult. People don’t want kids to see this. However, I never watched a press conference when I was five years old.”

“That’s life. I’ll say something when I disagree with something, that’s it.”
