“We Want to Win All Trophies”
Pelin Celik, the manager of the A National Women’s Volleyball Team and Fenerbahce Medicana Women’s Volleyball Team, stated that she strives to fulfill both roles to the best of her ability.
In an interview with an AA reporter, Celik expressed her happiness and pride in serving both the national team and Fenerbahce. She emphasized her awareness of the responsibilities that come with both positions, saying, “I work hard. In fact, I work 48 hours in 24. I don’t complain at all. I feel very lucky. I am grateful for every day I experience. I try to carry out my duties honorably and assist the team.”
Addressing the challenge of balancing both roles, Pelin Celik said, “I take off my national team jersey, then I put on my Fenerbahce jersey. Working in a place where one is happy and being able to do a job one loves is a great privilege. I get very tired; it’s a stressful job, but I think I’m doing quite well.”

She explained that this season would be competitive in all areas they are involved in, stating, “We are excited and happy. Our goal is to end this season with a happy ending as well. We want to win all the trophies we can in Europe and Turkey. At the beginning of the league, we need a little time. We believe we will have an upward trajectory over time.”
Celik also expressed her belief that they would take the trophy home in the CEV Champions League, where they have been among the last four teams since 2021. Highlighting their strong squad, Celik noted, “There are very good teams in Turkey. The strongest club teams in the world and Europe are in Turkey and Italy. The CEV Champions League will also be contested between these two countries. There are six teams. It wouldn’t be a surprise for any of them to win. We are very happy with the team we have formed. We believe we have the strength to achieve the results we want.”
