Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucurella, two Chelsea defenders who received yellow cards in the team’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, are banned and will miss their pivotal encounter against Liverpool on October 20.
Fofana was cautioned for a late challenge in a tight match against Forest, while Cucurella was given a yellow card for a shoulder barge. Despite having started every game for Chelsea this season, both players have received many cautions, which has resulted in their ban for the trip to Anfield.
