Omar Mugharbel, the CEO of the Saudi Pro League, has spoken on the futures of two of its best players, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, whose contracts with Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, respectively, are set to expire next summer. Since joining Al-Nassr in 2023, Ronaldo has been a vital member of the team, but Neymar hasn’t had a big influence at Al-Hilal yet because of injuries. Mugharbel acknowledged the transformative influence Ronaldo has had on the league:

When asked about a contract extension, he reiterated that the decision lies primarily with Neymar and Al-Hilal:
