Galatasaray has made a strong move in the transfer market by signing Ismail Jakobs to fill the void left by Derrick Köhn. The Yellow-Reds announced that they have acquired the 25-year-old Cameroonian left-back on loan with a mandatory purchase option.

After parting ways with Derrick Köhn, Galatasaray successfully completed the signing of a new left-back. Ismail Jakobs, who played for AS Monaco in France’s Ligue 1, has officially joined Galatasaray. The Turkish club confirmed that they have loaned the Cameroonian international with a mandatory purchase option.

Ismail Jakobs’ Salary and Transfer Fee Details

Galatasaray will pay Monaco a loan fee of 1 million Euros for Ismail Jakobs. The mandatory purchase option is set at 8 million Euros. For the 2024/2025 season, Jakobs will earn a guaranteed salary of 2.1 million Euros with the Yellow-Reds.
