Wilbekin Shock at Fenerbahce Beko

In the Euroleague match where Fenerbahce Beko defeated Olympiakos 82-71, it was announced that Scottie Wilbekin, who got injured and could not continue the game, will undergo surgery due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Fenerbahce Beko stated that during the hospital examinations following Wilbekin’s injury in the Olympiakos match, a tear was detected in his right knee’s anterior cruciate ligament.

Wilbekin sustained the injury in the first period of the match and was unable to continue, leaving the court. After the match, the yellow-blues provided information about Scottie Wilbekin’s health. The statement said, “Our player Scottie Wilbekin suffered an injury to his right knee during the Olympiakos match played on October 4 (today). After the examinations at Acibadem Atasehir Hospital, a torn anterior cruciate ligament was detected, and surgery for our player has been planned. We wish Scottie Wilbekin a speedy recovery and hope he regains his health as soon as possible.”
