Burak Yilmaz Receives Penalty from PFDK
The Professional Football Discipline Board of the Turkish Football Federation announced that Kayserispor’s head coach Burak Yilmaz has been suspended for one match. The PFDK decisions were announced on the TFF’s official website.
The statement indicated that Burak Yilmaz was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct towards the opposing team’s fans during the match against Trabzonspor.
The PFDK’s statement read: “BELLONA KAYSERISPOR’s coach BURAK YILMAZ has been sanctioned with a 1-match ban from entering the locker room and the substitutes’ bench and a fine of 58,500 TL due to unsportsmanlike behavior towards the opposing team’s fans during the Trendyol Super League match played on 19.09.2024 between TRABZONSPOR A.Ş. and BELLONA KAYSERISPOR, in accordance with articles 36/1-c and 35/4 of the FDT, and by applying article 12 of the FDT.”
Block Penalty for Galatasaray and Trabzonspor
Additionally, the PFDK announced that some fans in certain blocks from Galatasaray and Trabzonspor received block penalties.
The PFDK’s statement included the following:
“1- GALATASARAY A.Ş. has been sanctioned with the blocking of electronic tickets for fans in the NORTH TRIBUNE blocks 106-107-206, preventing their entry to the next home match due to the ugly and inappropriate chants caused by their fans during the match against GAZIANTEP FUTBOL KULÜBÜ A.Ş. on 17.09.2024, in accordance with article 53/3 of the FDT.
2- TRABZONSPOR A.Ş. has been sanctioned with the blocking of electronic tickets for fans in the NORTH GOAL BACK LOWER TRIBUNE NORTH LOWER J and VESTEL SOUTH GOAL BACK LOWER TRIBUNE SOUTH LOWER I-J blocks, preventing their entry to the next home match due to the ugly and inappropriate chants caused by their fans during the match against BELLONA KAYSERISPOR on 19.09.2024, in accordance with article 53/3 of the FDT.
3- BELLONA KAYSERISPOR’s coach BURAK YILMAZ has been sanctioned with a 1-match ban from entering the locker room and the substitutes’ bench and a fine of 58,500 TL due to unsportsmanlike behavior towards the opposing team’s fans during the match against TRABZONSPOR A.Ş. on 19.09.2024, in accordance with articles 36/1-c and 35/4 of the FDT.
4- ALAGOZ HOLDING IGDIR FK has been fined 84,000 TL due to a violation of the regulations.
These decisions have been made.”
