Paul George Anticipates “Fun Year” with Philadelphia 76ers

Having joined the Philadelphia 76ers as one of their top additions, Paul George is excited about the forthcoming season of the team. Expectations are great for the Sixers, thus George is ready to work with fellow players Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey to create a strong trio that might move the team to title contention.

George sensed the good team spirit from the moment he came, stressing their fraternity and unity.

“Everybody’s on the same page, hence I believe the character here is really similar. It’s a real brotherhood. You could see guys find fun interacting on this squad. My initial opinion of this year was this will be fun.”

Cooperation between Embiid and Maxey

Anticipating simultaneous playing with a top big man and point guard, George sees a chance to improve the offensive flow of the squad. “I believe this is the first time I have simultaneously interacted with a top point guard and big man,” he remarked. “For us, it’s simply offsetting one another. Nothing is mandated for one person to carry alone. We can distribute that obligation.

George also shared enthusiasm about the possible synergy among Maxey, Embiid, and himself. “I enjoy being aggressive to score and sharing the ball. All three of us, I believe, view the game the same way.

Advancement of the Sixers’ Offense

With an average of 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists last season, George is supposed to provide the Sixers a scoring blast. His arrival hopes to propel Philadelphia above the 47-35 mark from previous season and a dismal first-round playoff loss. The Sixers want to use their strong core and push for a longer playoff run with his arrival.
