Breaking decision for Paul Pogba! He is returning…

Paul Pogba, who received a 4-year ban from football after testing positive for doping, is making a return to the sport.

The French star, playing for Serie A giants Juventus, was at the center of a global doping scandal. Known for recent injuries and a drop in form, Pogba’s doping tests from August 20 and October 6, 2023, came back positive. The experienced midfielder was found to have used banned substances. The National Anti-Doping Agency announced a 4-year suspension for Pogba, despite his ongoing contract with Juventus.

REDUCED TO 18 MONTHS
According to a report from the Daily Mail, CAS reduced Pogba’s 4-year suspension to 18 months. This means that the French footballer will be able to resume training with Juventus in January and will return to the field by March 2025.

HIS LAST MATCH WAS AGAINST UDINESE
Pogba’s last appearance was in the season opener of 2023-2024, during the Udinese vs Juventus match, before receiving the suspension. His contract with Juventus remains valid until 2026.
