Our Opponents for the World Championship Are Being Determined

The draw for the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship will take place tomorrow in the Philippines. According to the Turkish Volleyball Federation, the draw for the event, which will feature the Turkish National Team, will start at 3:30 PM (TSI) in the capital, Manila, and will be broadcast live on the “Volleyball World YouTube” channel.

For the first time, the World Championship will include 32 teams. The participating teams are Algeria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Libya, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and the USA.

The draw will divide the 32 teams into eight groups of four. The Turkish National Men’s Volleyball Team will be participating in the championship for the fifth time, and the host Philippines will be in Group A. According to the world rankings, the other seven teams will also be seeded.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the next round, followed by the quarter-finals, semi-finals, third-place match, and finals.

The 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship will be held from September 12 to 28, 2025.
