Striking Statements from Fatih Terim in Italy

Experienced coach Fatih Terim made statements ahead of the Fiorentina-Milan match. His remarks about Hakan Calhanoglu, Kenan Yildiz, and Paulo Fonseca caught attention.

As Fiorentina prepares to face Milan in the 7th week of Serie A, Terim, who has been at the helm of both clubs, shared his thoughts on the match and specifically on national stars Hakan Calhanoglu and Kenan Yildiz. Here are Fatih Terim’s evaluations:

‘THIS IS MY MATCH’
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 71-year-old coach stated, “Yes, this is my match; Fiorentina and Milan are two of my hearts in Serie A. Did you know that I have beaten Milan twice as Fiorentina’s head coach? And then, when I was the head coach of Milan, I only beat Fiorentina once in our encounter. Yes, this is truly my match. No matter which team I coach, I have never lost.”

HAKAN AND KENAN COMMENTS
Fatih Terim emphasized that he was the first to play Hakan Calhanoglu in the national team, saying, “I was the first to play Hakan Calhanoglu in the national team. He is a unique player. He can do everything well.”

‘THERE IS SOMETHING THAT AFFECTS ME’
The experienced coach commented on Kenan Yildiz, who plays for Juventus, saying, “Kenan is still young, but there is something about him as a talented kid that affects me; he plays on the left at Juventus, runs, and works hard to become a skilled player.”
