GameSquare Closes Record-Breaking $14m Deals in August 2024

Esports and gaming company GameSquare announced that it closed deals valued at over $14m (~£10.69m) in August 2024, setting a new record for the business. According to the company, the contracts will contribute to revenues in both 2024 and 2025 as GameSquare shifts its focus toward multi-year and higher-margin revenue opportunities.

Among the key deals, GameSquare secured new partnerships with TopGolf and Dairy Max, as well as a new agency partnership with 5-Hour ENERGY. The company also reported several economic wins for FaZe Clan, which GameSquare acquired earlier this year. FaZe Clan signed a multi-year sponsorship with Crypto and NFT Casino Rollbit and secured over $2m (~£1.53m) in esports winnings at the inaugural Esports World Cup. Additionally, FaZe Media, the media company behind FaZe Clan’s IP, closed a multi-year, multi-million-dollar sponsorship and licensing deal with gaming and esports energy drink G FUEL.
