Jokic and Gordon’s Efforts Fall Short; Timberwolves Edge Nuggets with Edwards’ Heroics

In an electrifying NBA matchup, the Minnesota Timberwolves triumphed over the Denver Nuggets with a close 119-116 victory. This win improves the Timberwolves’ record to 3-2, while the Nuggets, after five games, now stand at 2-3.

For the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards led the scoreboard with 29 points and 4 rebounds. He was backed by Julius Randle, who contributed 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists. Rudy Gobert achieved a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Naz Reid added 16 points to help secure the victory.

On the Nuggets’ side, Aaron Gordon also notched a double-double, scoring 31 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, while Nikola Jokic fell just short of a triple-double with 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 13 assists. Michael Porter Jr. tallied 26 points, and Christian Braun rounded out the double-digit scorers with 14 points.
