VARGAS SIGNED A 3-YEAR CONTRACT

In recent years, Vargas has started her seasons in China, joining Fenerbahçe in February. This season, she will play the entire season for the yellow and navy-blue team.

In July, Fenerbahçe announced that they had signed a 3-year contract with Vargas. This will bring her total to 9 seasons in the Fenerbahçe jersey.

VARGAS SAYS GOODBYE

As Vargas prepares to compete with Fenerbahçe for the entire upcoming season, she said goodbye to her former club, Tianjin, with the following message:

“Dear Tianjin Women’s Volleyball Club, my teammates, and the fans in China,

The past three years have been incredible, and I am grateful to have been a part of this team. Winning three consecutive championships means a lot, and it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s support.

Thank you to my teammates for becoming my best friends. Thank you to the coach and the club for believing in me. Thank you to the fans; your cheers made every match special. I will always remember my time in Tianjin.

I want to let you know that I will be playing for Fenerbahçe next season. I will miss you all, but I will keep these memories in my heart.”
