Mourinho’s Decision for Samsunspor Match: One of His Most Trusted Players on the Bench

In the 9th week of the Süper Lig, Fenerbahce will face Samsunspor in an away game. Reports suggest that head coach Jose Mourinho has made his decision regarding his striker selection for the match.

After the international break, Fenerbahce is set for a tough match against one of the season’s standout teams, Samsunspor.

According to Hürriyet, Youssef En-Nesyri is expected to start in the attacking line against Samsunspor. Meanwhile, Edin Dzeko, who played in both matches for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League, is likely to start on the bench.

Mourinho is reportedly planning to introduce Dzeko later in the game, depending on the match situation.

So far this season, Youssef En-Nesyri has played 443 minutes across 11 matches for Fenerbahce, scoring once. In contrast, Edin Dzeko has made 13 appearances, scoring 9 goals and providing 2 assists for the team.
