OFFICIAL: TOYOTA RETURNS TO F1 WITH HAAS

Haas has signed a technical partnership agreement with Toyota Gazoo Racing.

The Haas Formula 1 team announced that it has entered into a technical partnership agreement with Toyota Gazoo Racing, the motorsports division of Toyota. Under this agreement, Toyota will become Haas’s “Official Technical Partner,” and both parties will share their knowledge and resources.

Toyota Gazoo Racing will provide services in design, technical support, and production, while Haas will offer its expertise and commercial advantages to Toyota.

Further details regarding the specific areas of collaboration between Toyota and Haas are expected to be announced at a press conference on Friday in Japan.

Toyota Gazoo Racing is currently competing in the World Rally Championship, World Endurance Championship, and World Rally-Raid Championship. Its European facility, located in Cologne, features two wind tunnels and also served as the original factory for Toyota, which raced in F1 from 2002 to 2009.

As part of the agreement, starting from next week’s United States Grand Prix, the Toyota Gazoo Racing logo will appear on Haas vehicles.
