Ben Simmons Fully Healthy, Ready for Brooklyn Nets Training Camp Without Restrictions

Ben Simmons is set to begin the Brooklyn Nets’ training camp without any restrictions after recovering from back surgery that sidelined him during the 2023-24 NBA season. According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, Simmons has been fully cleared for participation and is eager to get back on the court.

“Ben is fully cleared and is a full participant for the start of camp. He is excited to get started,” said Simmons’ agent, Bernie Lee.

Earlier this year, Lee accepted responsibility for the recurring injuries that plagued Simmons, acknowledging that it was his failure to find the right specialists to address the player’s long-term health.

Simmons, now entering the final year of his contract with the Nets, is set to earn $40.3 million this upcoming season. The 28-year-old played only 15 games last season, averaging 6.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game.

The upcoming season presents an opportunity for Simmons to prove his value and return to full form, as the Nets look to build a competitive roster around him.
