Bottas Sends a Message to Audi: “I Want Clarity About My Future in F1

Valtteri Bottas hopes his future in Formula 1 will become clear during the one-month break ahead of the United States Grand Prix.

Audi has yet to decide who will join Nico Hulkenberg at Sauber for the 2025 F1 season.

Bottas is reportedly the leading candidate to take the seat, even if only on a one-year deal.

Currently sitting last in the F1 drivers’ championship and yet to score any points this year, Bottas expressed his thoughts in an interview with F1TV after the Singapore race.

“I have a few objectives for this break, primarily to find performance and evaluate exactly what needs to be improved ahead of Austin,” Bottas said.

“Of course, sorting out things for the future is at the top of my priority list because I’m starting to feel like time is running out.”
