Cedi Osman, who has been playing in the NBA for several years, has signed with reigning EuroLeague champions Panathinaikos. The salary the star basketball player will earn under coach Ergin Ataman has been a surprising revelation.

According to a report by the Greek media outlet SDNA, Osman’s salary with Panathinaikos is significantly lower than what he earned with the San Antonio Spurs last season—almost one-fifth of his previous salary.

Osman, who earned $6.7 million in his final year in the NBA, will now earn €1.3 million with Panathinaikos.
