Fenerbahçe has officially denied the rumors suggesting that Ali Koç had a meeting with former coach İsmail Kartal. In a statement shared via the club’s social media accounts, it was clarified that Ali Koç did not meet with İsmail Kartal as speculated.
The club’s statement included the following: “The claims that our president told our former coach İsmail Kartal ‘do not make any agreements with other teams, wait for news from me’ are completely false.”
Further details in the statement read:
“The claims made by Onur Yıldız on Ekol TV, stating ‘I’ve heard’ about our president telling İsmail Kartal ‘don’t sign with any team, wait for my call,’ are entirely untrue.
We kindly ask the public to disregard such false statements.”
