Harry Kane Shatters Erling Haaland’s Bundesliga Record

Harry Kane made history in the Bundesliga by breaking Erling Haaland‘s record with a stunning hat-trick against Holstein Kiel. The Bayern Munich star became the fastest player to reach 50 goal contributions (goals or assists) in Bundesliga history, surpassing Haaland’s previous record. Bayern Munich dominated Holstein Kiel, securing a 6-1 victory, with Kane leading the charge.

Kane’s performance included two goals and one assist, reaching 50 goal contributions in just 35 Bundesliga matches. This achievement surpasses Haaland’s record of 50 contributions in 42 games for Borussia Dortmund. Kane opened the scoring by assisting Jamal Musiala in the early minutes, then capitalized on a defensive mistake to put Bayern two goals ahead. Shortly before halftime, the English striker scored his second goal, breaking the record.

Kane’s Impressive Form

In the 91st minute, Kane completed his hat-trick by converting a penalty, becoming the first player to score against all opponents he has faced in the Bundesliga this season. His remarkable form continues, having scored twice against Finland during the international break, where he also celebrated his 100th cap for England.

With Kane in top form, Bayern Munich now shifts its focus to the Champions League, where they will face Dinamo Zagreb at home on Tuesday to kick off their European campaign.
