Real Madrid superstar Vinícius Jr. has set ambitious goals for the season, stating in an exclusive interview with CNN Sport that Los Blancos could achieve a historic treble. The Brazilian forward, speaking to CNN Senior Sports Analyst Darren Lewis, also expressed his desire to emulate his Brazilian idols by winning the Ballon d’Or.

During the interview at his Madrid home, Vinícius was confident about Real Madrid’s chances of success in every major competition, as the reigning Champions League winners prepare to defend their title.

“Every year, our goal is to win every title we can,” Vinícius said of the 15-time European Cup champions, just before the team secured their sixth European Super Cup against Atalanta.
