VASSEUR: “EVERYONE FOCUSING ON VERSTAPPEN AND NORRIS IS PERFECT FOR FERRARI”
Fred Vasseur believes that everyone focusing on the rivalry between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris is perfect for Ferrari’s constructors’ championship ambitions.
Following two successful weekends, Ferrari has moved into second place in the championship, surpassing Red Bull. Charles Leclerc achieved a dominant 1-2 result at the United States Grand Prix before Carlos Sainz’s victory in Mexico.
However, Ferrari’s successes have been overshadowed by on-track disputes between Verstappen and Norris, who are battling for the drivers’ championship.
Team principal Fred Vasseur stated that focusing on the rivalries among competitors is an advantage for Ferrari.
After Sainz’s victory at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, Vasseur stated, “Honestly, everyone focusing on Max and Norris is perfect for us. This allows us to completely concentrate on our work, the team, and the drivers. The media will have a lot to say about Max and Lando; they will be in the headlines, and that’s good for us. This way, our attention will not be distracted.”
