Injury Crisis at Galatasaray: Three Players Out for a While
Galatasaray is starting the new season with injury problems.
One of our strong representatives in the Basketball Champions League, Galatasaray will officially begin the new season next week with an away game against Rasta Vechta. However, the yellow-red team will not be able to rely on some of its players at the beginning of the season.
According to information from the club’s television, GS TV, three players will be sidelined for a while due to injury issues. These three players are Buğrahan Tuncer, Roberts Blumbergs, and Karahan Efeoğlu.
Buğrahan Tuncer, who has been out for a while, will be unable to return to action for about another month due to an injury to his left hamstring.
Latvian forward Roberts Blumbergs, who was transferred from Aris this summer, will also be sidelined for a while due to a fracture in his big toe.
Young player Karahan Efeoğlu will be out for some time because of a broken nose.
In their first match of Group D in the Basketball Champions League, Galatasaray will face the German team Rasta Vechta next week on Tuesday evening, October 1st.
