PATRICK: “NORRIS SHOULD NOT SEE HIMSELF AS INFERIOR TO VERSTAPPEN”
Danica Patrick believes Lando Norris’s perception of himself as weaker compared to Max Verstappen is detrimental.
McLaren driver Lando Norris continues to compete against Verstappen in the championship race, currently sitting 47 points behind the Dutch driver with four races remaining in the season.
Commenting on the ‘tense’ rivalry between Norris and Verstappen, Sky Sports F1 analyst Danica Patrick pointed out that Norris’s constant self-comparison to Verstappen could be harmful. She stated, “Maybe he should stop talking like that; that’s not the mindset he needs.”
“He should define himself as aggressive and the best. He is consistently achieving good results and has become one of the first names associated with victory. Therefore, the way he presents himself will likely change over time.”
“But to be honest, Verstappen is currently superior in this regard,” she added.
